Motor Circuit Analysis

The electrical condition of plant equipment is as important as their mechanical condition. Electrical failure can be as catastrophic as the worst mechanical breakdown. Using state-of-the-art equipment we collect and analyze up to 8 separate parameters to determine motor condition. We test both AC and DC motors and coils. Fault analysis includes power quality, power circuit, insulation, stator, and rotor and air gap eccentricity. Testing includes phase-phase resistance and inductance, phase-ground resistance and capacitance. We help to reduce unplanned shutdowns from premature motor failures and decrease motor repair and replacement costs

Motor circuit analysis is the most complete and accurate test possible on an electric motor. Our specialists look for turn-to-turn shorts, coil-to-coil shorts, connection defects, air gap, rotator defects, and insulation degradation, all without removing or taking the motor apart.

Motor Cuit

Motor Circuit Analysis a revolutionary and new way to test over every electrical aspect of a motor without disassembly. It provides a simple and cost effective way to observe and record the condition of the machinery and to track any changes in its condition.

Motor circuit analysis works on: Distribution Conductors, Distributor Coils, Transformers, AC & DC Traction Motors, Machine Tool Motors, Servo Motors, AC /DC Motors, Linear Motors.

On-site Dynamic Balancing

Benefits of Dynamic Balancing

  • Extend Bearing Life
  • Reduce Shaft Failures
  • Minimize Wear In Coupling Components
  • Maintain Proper Internal Clearances
  • Reduce Power Consumption
  • Lower Vibration Levels
  • Increase Mechanical Seal Life

Unbalance is broadly accepted as one of the most common faults found in rotating equipment.

What can be accomplished by using precision balancing in a proactive reliability based maintenance program?

Consider the following example of the cost of what might appear to be a minor unbalance in a fan bearing: Calculated bearing life is proportional to the load on a bearing. Consider a bearing rated at 1000 lbs with a one ounce unbalance present at a radius of 22 inches. With a machine speed of 3600 rpm, this bearing, having a normal life of two years, will have an expected life of just six months. Proper balancing can extend the life of this component.

HVAC Test and Balance

HVAC Test and Balance are the testing, adjusting, and balancing of air conditioning ventilation systems to provide comfortable conditions, safe and efficient operation, and acceptable air quality.

Balancing the HVAC system ensures that there is correct flow throughout the building and that the system's controls are working correctly.

Balancing the system will solve problems occurring within the space like hot and cold spots and drafts. A well balanced system is much more efficient to run therefore financial savings can be achieved by ensuring that the building systems are balanced correctly.
