Leonardo
Dayon
Leonardo Dayon is a graduate of BS Electrical
Engineering in 1978 at
University of Mindanao, Davao City. He took his Masters Degree in
Engineering Education at the University of the Philippines, Diliman,
Quezon City (1980). By the year he graduated he started teaching at the
University of Mindanao for three years. In the year 1983-1990 he worked
at Semirara Coal Corporation at Semirara Island, Antique as an
Electrical Superintendent. During
those years his line of expertise was more on electrical
engineering and maintenance. By the year 1990-1997 he worked as an
Application Engineer at SKF Philippines, Inc. in Makati City. There, his
field of expertise expanded and started to conduct Vibration Analysis,
alignment, dynamic balancing, bearing maintenance, and Associate
Electrical Engineering Consultant of Construction Resources & Industrial
Corporation. With his expertise in vibration analysis, alignment,
dynamic balancing, bearing maintenance, and electrical engineering
Leonardo began establishing his own business by the year 1997.
By
then, Leonardo gained various certifications.
He was a Certified
Vibration Specialist I by the Vibration Institute of USA, Certified
Monitoring Specialist (CMS) by 01dB Acoustics and Vibration in France,
Certified Condition Monitoring Engineer Level I & II by FIS in Germany,
Certified Alignment Specialist by Fixturlaser AB in Sweden, and he is a
Professional Electrical Engineer, # 2030.

Robert Smith
Robert Smith is the owner
of Midwest
Vibration Analysers in Australia
and was a full time vibration analyst with Masterfoods Australia NZ. The
Vibration Analysis Program Robert developed with Masterfoods Australia
NZ saved an average of $1.2 Million au per annum over 4 years based on a
reduction in maintenance expenditure and increased production. These
savings were calculated and verified by Mars Industrial Engineers.
Robert also developed
a global internet condition monitoring support
group within the Mars Corporation involving 110 Predictive Maintenance
Associates from 41 business units in 23 different countries. Robert's
efforts in developing this group were recognized and made the
Masterfoods Australia final in Make the Difference Awards. Robert was
also named the first contact person in the Asia Pacific Region for
Vibration Analysis support to Mars business units.
Robert has worked
in the food, mining, oil refining, power and timber industries as a Vibration Analyst. Maintenance Technician, Maintenance
Supervisor, Shift Engineer and Mechanical Inspector (Rotating Equipment
NZ Refining Co managed by Royal Dutch Shell) with this experience a wide
variety of machine problems and training issues can be addressed.
